Another year and yet another Macmillan Prize competition – an very significant award for picture book artists.
Competing versus amazing illustrators from across the country is not easy, but our illustrator Alex has done it by taking third place in the competition. The the general exhibition will take place from Tuesday 18th to Friday 21st May at The Gallery of Foyles on Charing Cross Road, London.

Heads up with pride, Alex has entered the “Art of Nurture” competition – an annual award organised by Lloyds TSB and faced with fierce opposition got through to the finals.
Over 500 entries were whittled down to 18 finalists after six regional heats were held at prominent art galleries across England and Scotland during March and April.
